Top 10 Festival Camping Essentials

Gigs & Festivals
  • The first and most important thing that you’re going to want to bring to a festival is the tickets. As obvious as that sounds, people do forget their tickets and as you’ll know, without your ticket you’re not getting in.
  • You’re also going to want to bring a tent, at least one person in your group should anyway. If you don’t have a tent for your group then your gonna have some trouble sleeping at night.
  • Another thing that you are going to want to bring is your ID, without that you won’t be getting served at a festival if you have a baby face, you also might not even get in as some festivals have age restrictions and without any ID to prove your age then you’re not leaving yourself in a very good situation.
  • Waterproof clothes would be a huge help as we do live in England after all and the weather is never great or guaranteed so some waterproofs would definitely be a important thing to take.
  • A sleeping bag would also be handy as you can curl up in it if it’s cold at night and it is a lot more comfortable than sleeping on the floor, that’s for sure.
  • The one thing that’d be a life saver nowadays is a portable phone charger, everyone will use there phone a lot at a festival whether it’s to find out where their friends are or record a video of an artist on stage. Taking a portable charger would come in very handy as I don’t think many people could cope without phone battery all weekend.
  • Bringing wet wipes would be important indeed as you’re not gonna shower at a camping festival so just keeping fresh by washing your face and hand with wet wipes is much more hygienic than not washing at all.
  • Toilet roll would be helpful because you can’t always guarantee that when you go into the toilet there’ll be toilet roll there.
  • Ear plugs can come in very handy as people will still be up when you’re going to sleep and making noise so if you want to get to sleep nice and easily, earplugs will be very useful.
  • Lastly take sunglasses because there’s the slight off-chance that it might just be sunny when you’re there and they’d come in very handy.
