Starbreeze takes on Payday franchise, Confirms PayDay 3!

I has been announced today that Starbreeze has struck a deal with publisher 505 Games to have the rights to the PayDay franchise. The agreement has put Starbreeze as the sole rightsholder for the entire PayDay series.
Starting from May 1, 2016 Starbreeze will be collecting all the net revenue from sales of Payday 2 via Steam. However 505 games will continue to publish the console game PayDay 2: Crimewave Edition and all revenue will be split between the companies.
Starbreeze also made the amazing announcement of PayDay 3, explaining that 505 games will share in the net revenue of the game which is capped USD $40 million.
PayDay 2 developer Overkill Software, which is owned by Starbreeze has announced that is going to continue PayDay 2 for at least another 18 months.
