Even though it did not happen overnight and a lot of them had to put in work which was not paying them, the success they are having now is definitely worth it. Some of the YouTubers are only 19 years old and driving £200,000 cars which is totally ridiculous considering most are still considering if university is a good option!
Number one in the YouTube chart is the ‘PewDiePie’ which has an amazing fan base and a staggering 42 million subscribers. So your properly wondering how much did the YouTube star make? Well records show that, this young gentle made 7.4 MILLION in 2014 and his fan base only grew stronger over the last two years.
Your also properly wondering where all the money comes from? The answer to that question is ad revenue and sponsors.
Number two in the chart is a YouTuber called ‘MarkiplierGAME’. Even though he is not number one, he made $665,820 in ONE MONTH. Now if that is not ridiculous, then I don’t know what is.
We are not however in anyway saying that the hard work that some of these people put in should not be rewarded in the way they are. We are just saying that the reward system is a tad ‘over the top’.
