A photo was released on an official Alien fan page at the prequel of Prometheus called Alien: Covenant. The photo was captioned ‘Nowhere to run’, which is short and snappy like the original ‘In space no one can hear you scream’. You could imagine how buzzing the fans were to see such news, there were many rumours about the film being a new upcoming release but there was nothing official to actually prove that this film was being worked on. The film has a target of being released next summer 2017 and is the second in director Ridley Scott’s prequel trilogy. It has also been released that Alien: Covenant is set ten years after Prometheus.

The plot of the film has been discussed, and it seems as if a crew on a ship called the Covenant which is riding towards a remote planet on the other side of the galaxy. The world seems like an uncharted paradise, but it turns out to be a very dark place with much to learn about.
Reports have said that Scott is looking to turn up the horror factor of things and the movie is looking to be rated 18.
