Apple Moving to a Wireless World

Tech Munch

Not only did Sony have a huge reveal yesterday, but so did Apple. Apple revealed their upcoming phones, watch and music accessories.

Let’s start with the new iPhone. No prizes for guessing what it’s called, the iPhone 7. Apple will be releasing two new phones, the iPhone 7 and the iPhone 7 Plus.

You will be able to purchase the iPhone in five different colours: Rose Gold, Gold, Silver, Black and Jet Black. The new Black iPhone is more of a matte black colour and it looks incredible! The capacities of the iPhones are 32GB, 128GB and 256GB, Jet Black will be exclusively available in 128GB and 256GB.

The iPhone 7 will be both dust and water resistant, although I wouldn’t recommend you go swimming with it. 4K video recording at 30 fps is available on the new iPhone to capture the important moments in incredibly clear picture.

All of your old favourite features will also be returning to the iPhone like Touch ID, Apple Pay and an even clearer FaceTime HD camera.

The iPhone 7 was revealed last night and is set for release next Friday starting from £599.

Apple also released their new AirPods last night. AirPods are wireless earphones that connect to your phone via Bluetooth. The AirPods come in a charging case so you can charge while on the go.

Siri is integrated on the AirPods, simply tap twice and you can bring up Siri to change the song, the volume or even get directions somewhere.

The AirPods have up to 5 hours battery per use and the battery case will give up to 24 hours’ worth of listening time. The AirPods charge incredibly fast, 15 minutes in the case will give you 3 hours listening time.

The Apple Watch Series 2 is here, almost. The new Apple Watch was yet another product announced last night.

The Series 2 Apple Watch now has a built-in GPS and it is now water resistant for up to 50 metres. They are two of the biggest improvements on the Apple Watch since the Series 1 model. The Second Series will also have a 2x brighter display and a stainless steel case.
